You will never grow to your fullest potential unless you plant seeds of joy, love, fulfillment, hope, and success. Nature can only return to you what you plant.
Living, but not flourishing. We all go through prolonged periods of time where performing tasks seem unimportant and useless. It is a typical day at work for up to eight hours each day, only to get home and are too exhausted to accomplish things. We sit in front of the television and watch endless reality and sitcom shows on television or browse your social media accounts. The greatest thrill we get is taking a break every year, and maybe an unplanned holiday week towards the time of year’s end.
Are you really living?
It’s definitely not growing!
At this point, we’ve lost connection to the things that make our lives meaningful. Things provide us with joy and happiness , and allow us feel confident regarding the next chapter of our lives.
Below are four easy modifications you can make today, to provide you with more meaning and satisfaction in your life:
Always seeking out new knowledge. Our minds are always seeking out new information and this can either increase or decrease according to the information is fed to it. When we push our minds by taking on a new challenge – whether it’s an ability, a language or concept, it alters our perception about ourselves as well as what’s happening in our workplace and with our families and friends. If we don’t test our thinking, our minds don’t develop and become stuck in our ways and not interested with what’s going on around us.
Try to master an entirely new skill or idea. It could be connected to your job or a passion, or simply an idea you were thinking of.
